Hello,
A a close friend to our family was bit by 2 ticks this past week and has developed flu like symptoms. I am in need of a list of NY doctors. Please private message me if you have a list. Time is of the essence.

Have them start by contacting the support groups in their area. See "Support Groups" on left side of page.

Ask for lyme friendly doctors who could see a patient right away. Also ask about lyme specialists.

I would go to urgent care to get some antibiotics immediately if this were me. It will take time to get in with any lyme doctor.

Go to more than one urgent care to get the right amount of antibiotics and to get more than the short supply they will give.

Any place in the state of NY is OK for the doctor? I know of one.

I have 2 docs but really want a full list. He has already e-mailed ILADS and went to the ER and they told him he had sinus trouble. He did get 14 days of antibiotics, though.

Where does your friend live in NY? That would help so we would know which name/s to send you.
