Welcome to Lymenet! I don't know of any Lyme-literate doctors (LLMDs) in NJ. I sent you some info. When you call for an appointment, ask if there are any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this. Check the online state Lyme groups at: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/statenamelyme Maybe they can help you. Some more resources for you (including Support Groups):www.lyme-aware.org The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information. Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon. View "Under Our Skin" for free on www.hulu.com

Hi, am new to this forum. Also need doc referral in northern jersey stat for my husband's possibly undiagnosed lymes from a few years ago. Prefer someone who can see him quickly as he has been running a fever for 7 days with chronic, up all night joint pain and exhaustion. Many thanks.

Media mom - more people will see and respond if you write a new post instead of adding on to an existing one. Title your post "Need LLMD in northern NJ". PM sent with some info.
