Hi everyone! I am currently seeking a doctor in Central Florida (but preferably in the Orlando area) that is lyme literate.
I went to the Center for Natural and Integrative Medicine here in Orlando but was not too happy with the doctors there (they wouldn't even call me back when I called about extreme medication side effects).
Would love it if anybody could direct me to a doctor that takes insurance!

Hi OK, was just about to post a similar question and saw yours. We live in Gainesville and are considering the clinic that you mentioned.
Would like to hear more about your experience, if you are willing to share. If so, please private message me--I noticed you're not a member yet, so not sure if you can do that without registering, but would really appreciate hearing your feedback and whether there was anything that did seem worthwhile.
thank you!

I live in the Orlando area. We travel out of state for care, and pay out of pocket. Gotta love FL. LOL

I'd like the Central Florida list also for our 11-year-old ASD-and-lyme-afflicted son. He did 3+ years of oral ABX with Dr. J in Ct. with very little progress. We then did several months of treatment with the parasite doctor in St. Louis with no progress. Finally, we found Dr. C in Tampa in the fall and tried some more oral ABX. We had another appointment with him next week, but now we learn that he retired and the new guy replacing him won't see children. Great. Just when we were going to try IV ABX with Dr. C. Now what? We would try Dr. K at the CINM, but I have read mixed messages about him.
