I just watched "Under Our Skin" in horror, and downloaded Dr. Burrascano's symptom checklist. Filling that out was scary, since I seem to have so many symptoms that have been addressed piecemeal by I can't count how many doctors, to no avail.

The most recent diagnoses have been Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. My two tests for Lyme disease were both negative.

Please, please help me to find a LL doctor near me (although I will travel anywhere for help). I am in Coatesville, PA, where pediatric Lyme was featured in "Under Our Skin" (Jared).

I'm getting to the end of my rope with my joint/muscle pain, fatigue, lack of sleep, and more. I could scream if one more person tells me it's all stress-related.

My best wishes go to everyone suffering from this horrible disease.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for PA & MD.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!

LLMDs are far and few between, so you need to go where they are!

Also, most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:

When you call for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.

The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.

Read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Get it at your local library or buy it used on Amazon.

I was going to recommend you view "Under Our Skin", but you have already done that.
