Hi, just joined this site. Been suffering from Lyme and related issues for over 10 years. Have been seeing an LLMD in CT since 2005. He's helped me get to about 80% better, but I think I need to look for Dr's that can help me go further. Never been treated for co-infections,which I think is an issue. Current Dr thinks I have residual auto-immune issues and this is as good as I can get. Just not ready to accept that when I haven't tried too many other protocol's. I"m currently reading Bryan Rosner's new book, Freedom From Lyme Disease, and would like to try some of the protocols in his book with the help of an LLMD.
If I need to make a separate post for this request, let me know and I will do so. Thanks

Avamanex - Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for CT.
You should write a new post instead of adding on to an existing one. That way, more people will see it and respond. Title it "Need LLMD in CT".
It is very important that co-infections be treated.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease and its complex treatment!
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
