Need a LLMD asap for daughter who is desperately ill. She has had lymes for about 12 years and is slowly slipping away. She is so sick she is moving back home to SE Michigan. We have hear of dr L from saginaw, but he seems to be primarily focused on antibiotics. We feel that our daughter may already be too weak for that approach.

Long-term antibiotics are the primary treatment for Lyme and co-infections as well as supplements to keep the body strong. Has your daughter been treated this way?
Please read the Burrascano Guidelines which is the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment. Here is the link:
Your daughter needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner to see a LLMD by doing this.
