Hi, I was treated for Lyme in 2007 and 2008. Saw Dr. F in NJ. I believe my daughter has been infected now and want to get her help quickly. Dr. F. has a very long waiting list, so I am looking for other suggestions. I'm so upset that this has happened to my child...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Give us the age of the child. Lyme doctors have age requirements. There are very, very few that treat very young children.

You did not say how old your daughter was. We need to know this because not all Lyme doctors treat children; some treat adults only while others treat both children and adults.
Your dear daughter needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":

Klustpooh -we correspond by private messages (PMs), not e-mail on Lymenet.
To send a pm, click on the icon with two people standing next to an envelope in the row of icons found next to the poster's (NancyWrites) name. A form for sending a pm will come up, title it then write your message and click "Send New Private Message".
