I need to know some information on this doctor ASAP. I know of a young girl that is trying to raise money, $10,000 to give to him up front for a 9 month treatment plan.
She lives in Florida, 24 years old.. and he practices in CA.. and plans on treating her via SKYPE. She is trying to raise money on one of those sites, like "Fund Me".
He is claiming to be a LLMD.. which he is not.. he looks like he just graduated from college and he supposed just hosted a Chronic Lyme Disease Summit in April.. I have no idea who his list of 30 experts on lyme were.. but they wee not the typical H or Borrescano..
PLEASE help me with info about him.. if you can.. please, please, please.. help me check him out. Here is his website and it's full of product he has put together to sell packages: http://chroniclymediseasesummit.com/ Please let me know.. Lisa

- The main info. you need is that - no, he is not a LLMD and he does not treat lyme / tick borne infections.
He even states on his website that he does not treat any disease.
However, IMO, he seems to be misrepresenting himself with the recent summit (and although some good support information) and it can send a dangerous impression to some who may think he's got all the training required when he does not.
Still, all you need to know - and share with your friend - is that this is not adequate treatment at the stage she is at.
Some of his support ideas might be okay but most LLMDs have good support suggestions and it's best to go with a real ILADS educated LLMD or LL ND who will treat the infections directly.

You've been given very good information and advice to pass along. I'll add my two-cents into the mix.
A Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD) is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.

These are two huge red flags for multiple reasons. She needs to be evaluated a reputable Lyme doctor, not this chiropractor.
A quick scan of his website showed: "Lyme’s Disease."
