Urgently need Lyme literate or Lyme Friendly Cardiologist ASAP. I live in Raleigh NC area but at this point willing to travel to neighboring states along the east coast. The local cardiologist are not taking my symptoms or cardiac findings seriously and feel that I should be fine, but if I let this go I know this will only get worse or will kill me! The only thing they are willing to do is keep me on beta blockers which the side effects make me feel worse and now I'm having chest pains every single day that last hours!

Have diagnosed tachycardia (almost 200 Bpm), leaky valves (left ventricles), regurgitation and a slew of other things found on the echo, stress test & MRI. Regular cardiologist don't seem concerned and I know this is from my Lyme & Co. Please send me all referrals for cardiologist in the east coast.
Would love it if they took insurance but these symptoms can't be ignored by the regular cardiologists anymore.

Thanks so much!!

I'm so sorry you are going through this and hope you are feeling better. PM sent with some names I have in other states on the East Coast.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/NorthCarolinaLyme/info

Maybe they can help you.

I was given the name of Dr. P in NJ and was told he was a cardiologist. Will remove him from the names I have as heart specialists.

PM sent with a name for MD.
