Friend lives in the Chicago/Wisconsin area. Very sick, getting shuffled around to every specialist (psychiatrist, gastroenterologist, primary care, neurologist, physical therapist, etc)
Told his exercise malaise is fibromyalgia, or from his depression not being 'regulated' yet.
He's got dozens of symptoms...pain, sleep issues, post exertion fatigue...some neurological pain and knee pain.
Looking for a good integrative style physician who is experienced in Lyme, chronic fatigue, environmental and mold illness.
Any help would be appreciated! He can't travel to my doc as I go to one on the east coast. I want to help him before he gets as bad as me...they are telling him now to take Advil and suck it up. It's revolting as usual.
This is a former physically active, sporty guy. Spends his time sleeping on the couch with family who don't understand his 'problem.'

Neko,
Nice to see you working hard to help your friend. We should all be so lucky.
If you go to www.MarylandLyme.org and look at the menu to your left you will see "DOCTOR REFERRALS".
Click there to find the names and contact information for health care professionals in many fields who are treating Lyme & TBD's in all of the states that have them.
Here are some ways to locate additional alternative health care professionals too.
