I was at Carolina integrative medicine in Raleigh but it seems some lyme treatment places have terrible business practices. Looking for other LLMDs in North Carolina, integrative approach is preferred but not required.
I am in Winston Salem, NC 27104.
Thanks for any Help!

Charles in beautiful North Carolina...
Sorry to hear you weren't happy with the business practices at your previous office. Maybe this info below can give you some basic info so you can do another search.
And may I suggest asking them directly when you call about their business practices in advance so there is no confusion or hard time bestowed on you later on.
If you go to www.MarylandLyme.org and look at the menu to your left you will see "DOCTOR REFERRALS".
Click there to find the names and contact information for health care professionals in many fields who are treating Lyme & TBD's in all of the states that have them.
Additionally, here are some ways to locate a variety of alternative health care professionals too. Hope it helps!

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for VA, MD, & DC.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are. At least half of all Lyme-patients go out-of-state for care.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and his new one, "How Can I Get Better?" They are an excellent source of information.
Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
