I am currently seeing Dr. M in CT but he is raising his hourly rate to over $400 an hour. HELP! Both my son and myself are sick. Our insurance doesn't cover naturopaths. Does anyone know of a good llmd in CT?

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I'm not a foot ball fan so I am hanging out (anywhere else) today and saw your post.

Sorry to hear about the price increase! OUCH! Hoping you will be able to find someone who doesn't charge as much for both of you!

At www.MarylandLyme.org in the "Doctor Referral" section (see menu on the left) you will find lists by state of Lyme friendly health care professionals, along with their contact information.

Not sure what kind(s) of professionals you are looking for, but the state pages have listings for MD’s, PA’s, pediatricians, naturopaths, holistic doctors, chiropractors, chiropractic neurologists, speciality labs, alternative care providers, alternative dentists, acupuncturists and those treating mold exposures, Morgellon's/Lyme and MTHFR and more.

Some who treat children will be listed as such, however, some not specifically listed as treating children MAY also take children. You'd need to call those near you and ask what ages they can see. (Sometimes it changes.)

Additional information is listed by topic (lab list, alternative professionals, ALS/Lyme, treatment guidelines, ticks and diseases, NOT recommended, etc.) if you were to need it.

Hope that helps! It will at least give you a start and some other state listings and options in the event those offices are close to your area.
