Hi All, I am seeking a LLMD in the Plano Tx area. I have be "ill" for 2+ years. The symptoms are becoming more secere and still have no answers despite seeing multiple specialists. I keep getting the, "we don't have to worry about Lyme here" conversation while they completely ignore that I was born and raised in Maine and continue to visit multiple times per year. I need to find someone who knows how to do the proper work up and treatment. Any referrals would be appreciated.

Welcome to Lyment ANB83

You can request a LLMD through Global Lyme Alliance here;

https://globallymealliance.org/education-awareness/find-medical-professional/

Read this post about why it's so hard to get diagnosised from mainstream doctors and why LLMD's don't take insurance here;

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/2/25539?

Watch "Under Our Skin" a documentary about the struggles of Lyme patients here;

Also, some of the best LLMD's are on the east coast. You said you still travel a few times a year. You could get an east coast LLMD that requires appointments every 3 months, does skype monthly. This could very well be an option for you.

I will send you a private message.

Hope you find your answers.
