After many years of going to Northampton Integrative Medicine (formerly Northampton Wellness Associates) I was abruptly terminated by the main doctor there -- the only doc I know of in this area to even recognize chronic Lyme -- because I asked him to continue my IV antibiotics.

I can't even describe what a bind this puts me in, or how upsetting it is.

I'd love to hear about other ILADS-aware docs here, locally, in Western Massachusetts. I'm not that interested in more integrative approaches that try to sway me away from antibiotics or convince me my gut is going to be destroyed (my gut is actually fine). I can get herbs and make my own, and do -- but it's impossible to convince docs in W. Mass. that long-term antibiotics aren't evil.

I also would *very much* like to hear from anyone (or anyone who knows of anyone) who had a similarly bad experience with this doctor's office, as I had been in good standing there forever, and his notes literally reflect *no* problems and *no* grievances with me in the years I saw him, so it was a complete blindside to be terminated for the "crime" of requesting more intensive antibiotics. I basically just thought he was a nice guy until this happened, but this is really endangering for me.
