Hi,

I have had Chronic Lyme Disease with 4 Co-Infections for the past 35 yrs. I live in Broussard, Louisiana. I was only diagnosed 14 yrs ago and have been on Antibiotics all this time. I have never been tested for other toxins such as Mold toxicity or Heavy Metal Toxicity. I have seen 3 LLMD’s during this time and now fly out to my physician in a northern state.

What I am requesting, is a referral of LLMD’s for a
Second Opinion. To run any further testing like for Mold, Heavy Metals, other toxins, additional viruses, bacterias, and parasites that may be present compromising my immune system. Asses my Gut which can interfere with the brain and it’s cognitive function.

I am disgusted, tired, and just have lost all hope for a recovery/remission. I have had the Disease way too long before treatment was begun. I am on so many medications and more just keeps being added to the pile. I poor them into my hand and just cringe Every Day!

I really need to see a physician closer to home, if possible. I know most LLMD’s are concentrated in the Northeastern states. But Texas and Florida have a few also. When you have been treated by a well-known LLMD, you really want to see another LLMD. Not a Doctor with LESS experience!! I hope you can hear my plea. Any help is deeply appreciated.

You can request LLMD’s through ILADS here;
https://www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/

You can request LLMD’s through Global Lyme Alliance here;
https://www.globallymealliance.org/lyme-patient-support/find-medical-professional/

All LLMD’s MUST be throughly researched. To do this, join your local Lyme support group or google for patient reviews. Here are a few support groups for you to contact for LLMD’s in your area;

Central Louisiana
https://rawlsmd.com/lyme-support/united-states/louisiana/borrelia-burgdorferi-lyme-disease-support-group-of-cenla

Louisiana Borreliosis Association
https://rawlsmd.com/lyme-support/united-states/louisiana/louisiana-borreliosis-association

I’m sending you a pm with Mold doc in LA.
Also LLMD’s in TX.
Healing wishes.
