I have been seeing an out of state doctor for a number of years but due to Covid I do not want to risk flying. I am looking for a doctor who knows about lyme and chronic illness in general. Anyone know of a good doctor?

Welcome back TerryK

Oregon used to have very few LLMD’s but thankfully that has changed. Many are NP’s but do have prescribing rights.

You can request LLMD’s through LivLyme here;
https://livlymefoundation.org/resources/doctors/

You can request LLMD’s through Global Lyme Alliance here;
https://www.globallymealliance.org/lyme-patient-support/find-medical-professional/

These are simple e-mail formats that you fill out and they respond with LLMD’s closest to you. It is important that you research each LLMD referred to you.

To do this, google for patient’s reviews or join your local Lyme Support Group. Lyme Support groups offer first-hand experiences with LLMD’s in your area. Here’s a few for you to check out;

I will send you a pm.
