Hello! My daughter already has a great ILADS doc- in fact has had two but we need an Infectious Disease doc. She is studying to be a PA and is in her year before roatations. Her PA program is not making her get the covid vax however they are asking for a waiver from an ID doc once they send her out on 6 week rounds. They follow CDC guidelines. Her ILADS docs defintely don't want her to get the vax and I am struggling to find one that will. I thought I had one in NJ who had helped me in the past when I needed an in network doc but his receptionist won't even offer her to be seen. She does not need treatment from the ID doc - all we need for them to do is agree with the ILADS docs who treat her Help if you know any decent ID docs in netowrk. THANKS!

Most if not all ID docs will follow CDC guidelines.

Maybe try America’s Frontline Doctors

Check the PA Lyme Support Groups - maybe they might know of someone.

https://whatislyme.com/lyme-in-pennsylvania/

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.

To do this click the "Edit Post" icon, make your changes, then click "Edit Post". Thanks.
