Hello
I am seeking a Lyme Dr in MA. I was treated by Dr Sam Donta for many years and used to be the contact person in Boston for Lyme resources a few years back. Used to post here then.I have a coworker who has been sick for several months Her symptoms seem very Lyme like. Her Dr ruled that out based solely on a negative Elisa test.No matter how they treat her symptoms ie with steroids. Never was prescribed antibiotics.There is no relief. She has had a severe headache for months that hasnt gone away fatigue and severe temple pain and other symptoms. She had to take a leave from work.She is so sick. She really needs a proper evaluation. Thank you so much in advance.

Welcome back to LymeNet Kerry and thank,you for continuing your LymeNet advocacy. 💚

You can request LLMD’s through Global Lyme Alliance here;
https://www.globallymealliance.org/lyme-patient-support/find-medical-professional/

You can request LLMD’s through ILADS here;
https://www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/

LivLyme Foundation
https://livlymefoundation.org/resources/doctors/

Lyme Disease.org
https://www.lymedisease.org/find-lyme-literate-doctors
(Many complaints about Lyme Disease.org listing Doctors that are NOT ILADS trained so be careful!)

These are simple e-mail formats that you fill out and they respond with LLMD’s closest to you. Make sure to help your friend vent and research every referral received. To do this, google for patient reviews or join your local Lyme Support Group for feedback on your area’s LLMD’s.

Yes, Dr Sam Donta has retired but continues to do consultations with your medical providers.

Sending you pm for MA.

PM sent for MA.

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.

To do this click the "Edit Post" icon, make your changes, then click "Edit Post". Thanks.
