Hello everyone,
I currently live in the lowlands of SC/GA (29910); but acquired Lyme in Maryland; am a former patient of Burrascano's, am in Video Conference with G. Simmons from The Morrison Center in NY; but I badly need a place that I can reach by car close by. Ive been damaged quite badly nuerologically and I'm looking for an LLMD thats a bit more realistic for me than "Manhattan". I could drive to Charleston, SC or Savannah, Georgia. Columbia or Atlanta might be a plane trip. Thank you for any insight you may provide. As you can tell by my name drops; Ive been somewhat sick for a long time and extremely sick for a shorter time. I think I may need an LLMD I can get to in person or I may loose my Long Term Disability through UNUM.

Welcome back TheGeek

Sorry to hear you’re struggling.
Agree you need LLMD close by to get you back to sable.

Here are some organizations to contact for LLMD’s in your area. The more referrals the better to find a really good doctor.

You can request LLMD’s through Global Lyme Alliance
https://www.globallymealliance.org/lymedoc

You can request LLMD’s through LivLyme Foundation
https://livlymefoundation.org/resources/doctors/

You can request LLMD’s through ILADS
(International Lyme and Associated Disease Society)
https://www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/

You can request LLMD’s through Lyme Disease.org
https://www.lymedisease.org/find-lyme-literate-doctors/

These are simple e-mail formats that you fill out and they respond with LLMD’s in your area. You MUST research each LLMD referred. To do this, google for patient reviews and call each LLMD provider and ask what their treatment protocols entails.

I’ll start by private messaging you LLMD’s close to Charleston, SC
Good Luck on your healing journey.
