Hi everyone, I'm brand new to this board, so forgive any gaffes! I'm searching on behalf of a friend for a doctor in TN. Two names that have been mentioned via e-mail referrals are Dr. G. in Memphis and Dr. F. in McMinnville. Also a Dr. K in Franklin. I haven't seen these names come up on the board, and wondered if anyone has information on them. Thanks so much for any help you can offer!

Thanks, Lymetoo. I need all your voices of hard-won experience! Since I'm new to this, I guess I'm grappling with the necessity of my friend traveling hundreds of miles to see an MD with experience, versus finding someone closer to home who is willing to listen, read the literature, and buck the establishment. It seems like Dr. C (in MO) and Dr. J (in NC) are the 2 names that are cited most frequently, but now I will look into PA, too. Any other suggestions? My friend got bitten about a year ago, is having joint, neurological, fatigue, and skin symptoms (including a skin condition that really sounds like Morgellon's disease; found that link in another thread). When you pick an MD, do the specific symptoms matter, or is it the general expertise/experience? Sorry for the length and all the questions!! Viva
