I am in SW Ohio, and wondering if I should try to find a Lyme doctor. I contracted Lyme in 1984, diagnosed in 1988, Antibiotics until 1992, then my doc. quit seeing patients and I haven't seen anyone since. I have just not felt well in forever... I am so tired, aches, massive headaches, depressed etc. etc. And now I am pregnant and concerned about that. Do you think this is Lyme related and should I be looking into a dr.? If so, need to find one. Thanks so much

I can't help you with a LLMD, but I definitely think you should be seeing one, especially now that you are pregnant.

Yes, do be aware that Lyme can be passed to the infant thru the placenta unless you are on amoxicillin. Breastfeeding is not recommended.

There's a dr in Solon, OH. Let me know if you need contact information.

Hi Amy

Congrats on your pregnancy. How far are you? I will soon be 16 weeks.

You definitely need a doc. All the lit Ive read says antibiotics through entire pregnancy.

Absolute no to breast feeding which I find to be a huge bummer.

I have 4 children already considered to be congenital lyme babies. I had not yet been diagnosed with them.

Best of luck to you

Cheryl
