I saw Dr. L in NJ for about 3 months. He is not a big believer in oral meds and you need positive PCR's and/or positive westerm blots for IV therapy.

I had an IV of rocephin for 56 days with no oral meds or follow-up. They will pull the Picc line at 56 days whether symptoms are gone or not.

In my case, I was just beginning to make progress at the 56 day mark. They still pulled the Picc line, then in 2 weeks when I had a relapse, they wanted to put in another picc line!

At that point, my insurance company cut me off from further treatment and the doctor would not follow-up with oral meds. So, here I am almost a year later.....stil with many symptoms and zero treatment!

Hope this gives you an idea of his protocol. Good luck in your search and if you find a good LLMD in NJ please let me know.
