JennJenn- I scheduled an appointment 1 week ago with Dr. L, an LLMD in Lutherville/Timonium area.

I couldn't get in until July 2, but after talking to someone that went through treatment with her, it sounds like she will really try to help.

If you are not sure who I am referring to, I can email the name and contact info to you.

Me, too.

Although I live on the west coast, I'm looking for a LLMD in Baltimore. I do not have an LLMD, but a LLND - sort of. We have no LLMDs in my state so I've done the best I can with support measures.

I am scheduled to travel Baltimore for an inner ear consult in June at Johns Hopkins. Surgery at a later date might be needed - going through the skull to the inner ear to plug what might be deteriorated bone structure of the ear canals. Steroids will be involved. Since that needs special care with lyme,

I would like to find a local doctor there who might have some influence with the Johns Hopkins doctors so my treatment will be as safe as can be considering the various lyme/TBI dx I have.
I don't know if the doctor there "gets" chronic lyme or not, and I'm not wanting to "go there" but it is a consideration due to my severe symptoms.

If I do, in fact, have missing bone in the inner ear the surgery could be of tremendous help. but it would also be such an ordeal in light of all this other stuff. I can't even go to the grocery, traveling will be tricky. But I will do it if it will help give me my life back.

The surgery might be in autumn, but I'm scheduled for consult the end of June if I'm feeling better enough to travel 3,000 miles - that TWO plane stop-overs from here.

thanks so much. You can PM me if you like
