Hello, my name is Jennifer....So glad I found this site....What began on 12/12/06 with what I thought was the flu has become a nightmare.

I have been to every specialist under the sun, tested for a variety of disorders, including MS, Auto-Immune disorders, but everything has come back stone cold normal.

It all started with extreme vertigo, then naseua, then the list exploded, numbness, tingling, feet and hand falling asleep, creepy crawling feeling on each sides of my face, strange sensation of something traveling through my body, stopping a joints (kind of a pulsing), heart skipping beat then lips go numb, extreme headache, flu-like symtoms, chills, extreme eye pain, fatigue, joint pain, muscle weakness.

I went to Africa in July/August 2006 where I pulled a tick off my daughter and then I found some on my pant leg. Never had the rash. Also spend lots of time in Bend, OR.

I feel like many on the board that I am going crazy. I did have a lyme disease test not the Western Blot shortly after I got sick which came back negative.

Looking for a doctor in Oregon or Washington State....although I will go anywhere....I remember watching about a specialist on Discovery Channel's Mystery Diagnosis?

Thanks,
Jen

If it's one thing I've learned about lyme it's that it's very likely Lyme when the drs [ducks] can't find anything!!!

Many of us here never had the benefit of a rash. The rash only shows up 40-50% of the time.

Also... a test given soon after a bite often comes back negative.

I'll PM you with some info.

Don't know any in Wash. or Oregon, but can point you to a great one in northernmost California ... bit of a drive, but let me know if that would help!

Send a PM (private message) to TerryK. She may know of an LLMD in Oregon.

Best wishes,

Claire
