Thanks so much for recommendations on a Lyme LITERATE doctor in Pittsburgh area. I've had Lyme since May 2000 and was treated for 3 years in Florida. Moved back to Penna in 2005. I've been in denial for a while but am guessing I'm out of remission since the symptoms are getting more obvious. I've had seizures, strokes, Bells palsy, etc. in the past in addition to joint pain, blurry vision, memory loss ... Due to a cancellation, I am seeing a highly recommended Lyme LITERATE dr this FRIDAY!! Thank you again!!

Kitkat, may this be the beginning of healing lyme & company for you. I know it's hard dealing with this for so long. Myself since '98.
I don't know how some on this board have dealt with it for 20-40 + yrs. I hope you and your new doc gel.

I think once you've gotten Lyme, you kind of inherit the characteristics of a tick ... you become very adept at hanging on to survive.
