Hi All - as the name implies, this is nenet's husband. She posted here back in October, and thanks very much to those who have helped us so far. My wife has seen Dr. S in PA who did Dx her with late stage chronic Lyme, but as others have mentioned he is not following ILADS treatment protocols.
So, I have a couple of huge favors to ask:
1.Who is considered to be the LLMD with the highest rate of success, regardless of location?
2.Who is the best LLMD in the St. Louis area? (we have been told there is at least one there, but just need the name for a good regional doc to visit for treatment)
Her symptoms are now neuro and cardiac involvement for the last several years, with seizures and SVTs, among the host of others you all know too well.
She has been sick since at least 1995.
I am willing to take her anywhere, at any cost, to restore her to health. You can pm my account or hers, whichever you are more comfortable with.
I thank you all for just being here - any help you can provide will be deeply appreciated.

welcome!
I'll send you my newbie package, as I don't know your wife's NICKNAME here, and don't know how long she has been a member her.
i'll email you MISSOURI info you requested by pm. *********************************************
who's the best? I don't feel ANY of us can answer that one! Maybe you'll get private messages about the one too.
many things to consider: how long person has been sick; what treatments have/were/are being used, etc.

Hi bettyg - thanks so much for the information. Her nickname is nenet here - sorry if my first post was confusing. I have edited it for clarity. And thanks for the welcome. I hope that I will be able to help others while I am here as well.

Ive had lyme since 1996 and have been to 7 other doctors who found everything else wrong but lyme. for me it was worth the 485 mile drive each way. I think im now on the right path to recovery with the right doctor.

Thanks to all who responded!! I will be setting up an appointment for her as soon as possible.
We are open to going just about anywhere - the main thing for us is finding someone who follows the ILADS protocols so that we have the best shot of getting her well.
She reacted pretty badly to the meds from her current doc's treatment - not sure yet if it was the meds themselves, the dosage, or the herx, and communication with the doc is less than stellar.
We're open to New England LLMDS as well, if anyone has a suggestion, we would be very grateful. A third opinion on treatment is not out of the question (we are even looking into Dr B in NY).
I know we are kind of all over the map on this (literally!) but a few extra hours in the car are well worth getting to see her back to herself.
Thanks!!

First of all, ditto what lymewreck36 said!! Next, I know of the LLMD in Springfield, but do you know that he will not file ins? Another great option would be a LLMD in Sikeston, Mo. I have personal experience with him. You can pm me for his website if you like, it's very informative and he files ins.!!
