Hi, I have severe and debilitating bladder pain/frequency and have had this for 2 1/2 years. I see one of the best LLMDs in the country and travel from Dallas to San Francisco to see this person.
This LLMD does not know of ANY urologists in the country that can help me. Does anyone have a recommendation??
Thanks in advance. You can PM with a rec.

have you ever had URODYNAMICS done/testing?
I went thru this in fall; very thorough medical history, exam, and then 1.5 - 3 hr. testing of bladder when it will release, etc.
if this is the type of person you are looking for, I'd be happy to give you this woman's name/address/phone no. in Des Moines, IOWA!
I was pleased with her/staff! EXPENSIVE! My MEDICARE/BCBS paid everything! I'd met limit max earlier for my hip surgery 3.07.
my hip surgery caused 24/7 urine incontinence; finally yesterday was the 1st day of WEARING NO PROTECTION! 10 months of this...uffda; expensive!!
you can send me a PM if this is what you need! sometimes I don't get back to reading all of replies on EACH post! lol too many.

I dont know of any LL urologists.
But this sounds like it could be interstitial cystitis. A good source for info is www.IC-network.com.
Also sometimes with lyme the pelvic floor muscles go into a high tone, and this can cause bladder issues as well. There are a few good Mainstream urologists on the west coast. The IC site would be able to provide you with docs names.
