Hi all,

I have heard some good things about Dr. H in Hyde Park NY. I am considering getting an appt for my husband with him; can you tell me your experience, good or bad? It seems he is pretty aggressive, which is good, so long as he is not reckless

Thanks,
tickbattler

Your best bet would be to call Support Groups in that area. They get lots of feedback on docs from their members. There's a link on the upper left side of this page. CALL, don't email them.

I've heard some great things about him. I think he is agressive but not reckless.

Best.

In my opinion he saved my life. If you can get an
appointment with him, go for it. His physcian assistant is good too!

He is the last person I would call reckless. Yes, he treats aggressively, but continually evaluates each patient and tailors the regimen to fit their response. He monitors carefully, and will have you pull back or pulse if you herx too hard. And he wants to know NOW if you have any problems with herxing too hard or with meds.

I also credit Dr H with getting me back to living a reasonably normal life. I still relapse from time to time (I had Lyme for 16 years, so have lots of cysts hiding), but each time the treatment is shorter, and I get better than I had been.

Dr. H is great! Aggressive, but listens to your body. He covered my treatment from all angles -- metals, coinfections, parasites, etc.
