i am new to the lyme world, even though found that i have had it since 2000 at which time i tested positive for elisa and neg for wb. I went to a neuro then and said i did not have lyme, it started in 2000 when i lost my feeling from waiste down and then in 2006 i lost the mobility of my eye, and then jan 2008 knumb in legs, arthritis and am taking medicine about a weekinto it. I am seeing a doc in pa, but not comfortable with the nurse, should i say she changes what the doctor has perscribed and also charges me for things he never authorized for her to do. one is 45.00 for her to call me and let me know that my test is positive,,,I am in need to find a lyme doctor in pa please help>>>>>>>i also have rocky mountain fever, 2 forms of the ehriclious and epstein barr and lessions on my brain about 12 of them, i have diffused cord athrophy...please help i am need of a good lyme doctor,,,thing is i have hmo...

I live in eastern pa, but seen dr sw in herm. pa only once has me on antibiotics he does not take my insurance and visit was 300.00 and along with med and lab it has cost me 1000.00 if this continues i will not be able to get the treatment due to financialy unable, i have applied for ssdi have a meeting with them on fri...neuro appointment on wed. she thinks that it is ms of course even though i have all pos lab works..i am hoping to find a dr that takes my ins. thanks so much for the reply..

Have you contacted a local support group near you?? You can find on left side bar, look under PA. That's your best bet.

If I can help I will.....I run the support group in York, but we have many from other areas in S. central PA.
