to edit, click paper/pencil icon to right of your name which opens up subject line AND BODY TEXT.
and edit your subject line to show the largest city near you, Penn.
please post the largest 6 cities starting with the CLOSEST TO YOU in your top post.
click lower left hand corner for all replies to be sent to you, click edit send; done! then we will send you info.
you can also find out info this way too after you get the names...
Please go to SUPPORT GROUPS, left-hand side column by state. CALL the nearest group leader for advise. Do NOT email; many are too sick to reply; thanks!
People seeking doctors in certain states might be able to get help from their state online information and support group. Over 1500 people belong to these state groups. Many of the groups are small but quite a few have 20 or more people on them.
Type your state name and lyme as one word, e.g. newyorklyme
For SC, SD, ND and WY, put a hyphen between the statename and lyme, e.g. northdakota-lyme
The groups are moderated so you have to apply, and we don't allow doctor names, but once on the group, you can ask for doctors in a certain area and ask people to email you privately.

The doctors in Baltimore that I recommend do not take insurance, but you can submit their bill to the insurance company and usually they will pay some of it. Mine paid about one third.
Also, your insurance will likely pay for the prescriptions you are given. (Mine did.) So, your insurance still helps you.
It's just that you have to pay for each of your visits and then you ask your insurance company to reimburse YOU. The docs don't get involved in the insurance end of it.
Since these docs are costly, I suggest you look over the lyme symptoms listed in the Dr. Joseph Burrascano guidelines and if you think there is a good possibility that you have lyme once you have read this material, then go ahead and schedule an appointment to see one.

My LLMD is actually in my network of doctors (I'm in a PPO) and he takes my insurance. I only pay my co-pay of $10. I also got reimbursed for the Igenex tests he ran. I had to pay upfront and then fill out the form but my insurance paid 100%.
Most insurances and doctor's billing procedures are different.

I did make an appt with a LLMD, kind of a long wait to get in but that's the way it goes.
And the insurance will be the way you said TF--- so if some of it's paid that's better than none. Yay!
