Hello, I tested positive for Lyme through a Western Blot test and was told by the doctor that I needed to retest a month later because it could be a false positive. I went back in a over a month later and found out my insurance was cancelled, so they threw away my second blood test!

So, now it's been about two months since the original test and I am worried that I have Lyme disease.

I live in Manhattan and am getting married in July and will be moving to Queens, on the border of Long Island. Are there any LLMD's anyone can recommend either in Manhattan, Queens or Long Island or anywhere in the tri-state area?

I am working on getting my insurance back, ASAP, now that I have found this site and am really scared at what a delay can be doing to me.

Please help?!

vw, sending you a private message of NYC llmds...

best wishes; fyi, most do NOT take insurance anyway; lyme disease is an out of pocket illness unfortunately.

so sorry to say with your getting married, perhaps your wedding money gifts can be used towards lyme treatment for you!! [group hug] [kiss]
