I need help finding a dr on the east coast that deals with patients that have heavy metals, and things like arsenic in their systems.
We are pretty certain I am contaminated and need chelation (sp?), but having that done can be extremely rough.
Been having some major problems and a few things have popped up that have lead us in this direction. We know of several people near us that are having to deal with the same issue.
My LLMD and another specialist agrees that this needs to be fully evaluated and dealt with asap. I have done one basic test, but results won't be back soon and we found out I will need more in depth tests.
I've heard of a dr in MD that deals with these issues but have no idea of his name or location. Ideally the dr would be around the DC/MD/VA area, but considering we travel at least 15hrs to get me to my llmd, we would consider going further away to see a dr. We want the best, not just somebody that is convenient, but not that good.
Please PM me with any info. on doctors dealing with these issues, that has a really good reputation. We really want to get a well rounded evaluation done, so nothing is missed on me and if I do have to go through some of the more major treatments, my drs have all agreed we need to get me to somebody that does this all the time.
Thank you! I have done some research, but need help with this...we've had several major family emergencies and things arise that we are still dealing with, and on top of all of that I am struggling with fatigue issues being a bit worse than usual.
PS-we discovered that I had strong herxes to dry sauna and HBOT....appearently those things are used to help clear some toxins out of people with what my drs think is going on with me.

I sent you a private message with the name of a good heavy metal doc on the east coast.
Also, please go to the link bellow to find a medical doctor that is nearest to you that have had training in how to properly diagnose and treat heavy metal toxicity.
Most medical doctors do NOT know how to properly diagnose or treat heavy metal toxicity.
So if you don't go to a medical doctor that is listed on one of those links above then the odds are that you are not going to a medical doctor that knows how to properly diagnose or treat heavy metal toxicity.

Blackbirdsings,
The links bellow might be of some interest to you.
You might want to read the book "Detoxify or Die" by Sherry Rogers. This book explains environmental toxicity and environmental illness in layman's terms and what you can do about it.
Also, there are a few medical centers in this country that deal almost solely with patients that have environmental toxicities and sensitivities. I'll give two examples of such a facility down bellow.
The Center For Occupational and Environmental Medicine located in North Charleston, SC and run by Dr. ALLAN LIEBERMAN.
The Environmental Health Center located in Dallas, TX and run by Dr. William Rea. This is probably the largest and oldest medical facility of its kind in the entire country.
