I've had Lyme since probably Fall 2005 but wasn't diagnosed or began treatment until Summer 2007. In that time, the POTS is what's making my life the most hell.
I've seen some doctors around the DC area who treat children but they'll actually see anyone. But their treatment isn't working and was hoping if anyone knew of a more liberal doctor who does a saline IV you plug in everyday at home. ALL of them said it would help but don't do it because of the risks. Then they said I'd only get about eight good hours a day out of that therapy. They don't seem to understand what that eight-hours means in my life.
I know a girl who is back in college with POTS and Lyme because of her daily IV but her doctor isn't taking new patients.
