I was recently diagnosed with Lyme after going through numerous scans, mri,s and eye tests.

My symptoms started with headaches, blurry vision and some fatigue. Doctor did scans to rule out any major brain isues I guess.

After about 1 month I started having a severe sore neck.

At this time my doctor said he was going to test me for Lyme disease.

Well the blood test came back positive and after doing a spinal tap to rule out infection in the fluid he started me on doxycycline 100mg 2 per day.

It has been about 2 1/2 weeks now and I am about the same.

My doctor gave me a 30 day supply and I will go back to see him when that is done.

Although I give him credit for the diagnosis I am not sure how familiar he is with treatment long term.

I am looking for a second opinion/doctor in the Pittsburgh Pa area.Any info would be greatly appreciated.
