Hi -- Could you pm me a copy of LLMDs in Connecticut too?
My story is the same as so many others on the web. Starting in Januarcy I was misdiagnosed with sinus infections and given a series of antibiotics over the new few months which always dampened the symptoms but never actually stopped them. When I finally went off all antibiotics in late March I got extremely sick (massive headaches, inability to sleep, blurred vision) and was put throught a series of excrutiating and expensive tests, none of which were Lyme related because I was told it couldn't possibly be Lyme Disease.
When my GP and neurologist didn't find anything neurologically wrong with me, I was proscribed anti-depressants and painkillers instead. I had to beg to be tested for Lyme but when the results came back positive, they still didn't believe it was Lyme and insisted on having me tested again. I'm now at the end of a 30 day course of doxycycline but after 3 weeks of treatment the symptoms started to come back and I'm now as sick as I was before I started the antibiotics (which are supposed to end in 5 days anyways). I need to find a doctor who knows what they are doing. Thanks so much.
