I have been looking in the wrong place (on this board) for a LLMD urologist who can help with my very debilitating bladder problems. I was diagnosed with IC, which of course is just a catch all term for painful bladder issues. I have found this person on IC support boards.

She is actually a nurse practitioner with her own practice in DC. She is doing many things that no one else in the world is doing...and she is making women better.

She conducts her own research and testing and finds most of her IC patients have bartonella and or Lyme too. She had IC for 11 years and has been completely pain and symptom free for 10.

I have had severe pain and frequency for over two years. I am not the typical Lymie with some bladder issues that come and go. If you would like her contact info or have any questions about her, please IM me.

She is extremely bright and has patients travel from all over the world to be treated by her. She is VERY thorough and is doing testing on me that even my very sought after LLMD in San Francisco is not or has not done.

That's great!! Lyme treatment pretty much "fixed" my IC also!!

I'll have "cantgiveupyet" contact you. She is still in really bad pain.

thanks lymetoo for keeping me in mind, grately appreciate it :-)

I know who you are talking about, I had a phone consult with her in 2006, but wasnt able to stay on any abx back then due to yeast.

Im not sure if she is a urologist though, but she has helped a few patients.

dallasgal- I would be interested to know what testing she is doing on you. If she is doing anything new, she is on my list as someone I am going to contact again since im in a downward spiral.

Thanks again lymetoo!
