I awoke to find a tick imbedded in my right anterior shoulder, pulled it out and used antiseptic (topical) about 35 days ago. I forgot all about it. Five days ago a red sore / itchy rash began that increased in size - the tick bite came to mind. This morning I awoke with moderate shoulder pain - an achy feeling that I can't say I have felt before, despite having shoulder problems for years. I am thinking lymes is the problem. I am holistic minded. Is there any natural remedies that work on acute cases? Do antibiotics really take care of the problem? What meds are the best to use? Any further info is apreciated!

Not in my opinion.
Do antibiotics really take care of the problem?
If you get treated ASAP!!!!
What meds are the best to use?
Most begin with doxy. Doryx is easier on the stomach, but is more expensive. Lyme disease is a serious problem and MUST be treated as soon as possible in order to have a full recovery.
PS to those helping out in Seeking a Doctor... I PM'd squeek .. couldn't reply to the other thread.

It's gotta be an ILADS doc, and if you use doxy, it's gotta
be >= 400 mg/day for >= 2 months.
Anything less will virtually ENSURE that you join the lifelong club.
