When you post or reply, please break up your solid, continuous block text
welcome to the board! many of us have neuro lyme where we can NOT read long solid block text and be able to comprehend and read it as is.
please edit your post by CLICKING PAPER/PENCIL ICON to right of your name. that opens up BOTH subject line and body text.
now please break up your WORDY SENTENCES into one sentence paragraphs. Then hit ENTER KEY ``THREE`` after each paragraph; we need that space for comprehension.
if you are NOT a wordy person, you can do 2 or 3 total ok. do this for your entire post.
then go to left hand corner and mark box to receive ALL REPLIES, and click EDIT SEND
we thank you for helping us; otherwise, we will SOB, SCROLL ON BY, since we can't read to help you. If I see posts like this, I SOB them; to hard on me. I'm also in the early stages of losing my eyesight from diabetes retinopathy. *******************

The closest cities to me are Hartford, New Britain, Manchester, New Haven. But I would go outside these areas too.
I haven't been diagnosed with Lyme, but I am worried I might have it. Being in CT and an avid hiker/outdoors person makes me more concerned about it.
I recently visited an ophthalmologist for pain and fogginess in my right eye. He told me there was nothing wrong with it, but I'm still convinced it could be optic neuritis considering it has been going on for over a month now.
I've felt generally lethargic for the past couple months with frequent headaches and aches and pains.
My lymph nodes were swollen a while back, but was brushed off as just a bug going around. One on back of my head has been swollen slightly starting a week ago.
This past week my neck has been very stiff and my back aches slightly, but there is more pain if I press on my spine. My neck and back have also been creaking and cracking much more than normal.
My knees have also ached on and off. The skin over them was also slightly red one day for a period of time then faded.
I've had some difficulty sleeping lately as well. Whether its a symptom or just due to me stressing about this, I don't know.
If lyme is a possibility, I don't want to wait to have it checked out and I don't want to waste my time (and money!) on a Dr. that doesn't know how to treat it
Thank you for your help everyone
