Hi.

A friend recently diagnosed with ALS in PA is trying to rule out Lyme. Her daughter has been trying for a week or two to set up an appointment with Dr. J. and hasn't yet received a call back.

From my own experience I know about waiting for an appointment... but waiting weeks for a call back to get an appt seems like a lot.
Anyone with experience dealing with his office?
Is this flukey or normal? Will they come through?

Thanks.

What part of PA are you referring to? I see a Dr J in NW Pa near Pittsburgh. Their office is very prompt in calling back. Maybe messages got crossed so you may want to try calling again.
