I have an appointment with Dr. J in SC in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone here has been treated by him.
I was recently diagnosed by a doctor in Fl and put on abx 2 months later
Was on 200mg doxy in the morning and 100 at night (which i now know to be too low)
For 5-6 weeks, I had 1 gram of rocephin IV twice a week.
That's been my treatment since february..
Sorry for going off topic.. I'm back on it now
Dr. J. Has anyone heard of him turning patients away that aren't 'serious enough'?
I feel physically and mentally drained and like a ship lost at see during a foggy night and there's no light house.
yet, I know I am not nearly as bad as some people.
...Just wondering. If anyone could give feedback on him, I would appreciate it Greatly!!
Thanks for reading!

I see that you haven't gotten a response to your post.... Call Support Groups in that area. They will be able to give you lots of feedback, I'm sure, on Dr. J. There's a link on the upper left side of this page for Support Groups. Call the contact person, don't email.

I've been seeing Dr. J for about 11 years now. He's kept me working all these years even though many days and weeks are still very bad. Without his treatment I know I would probably be bedridden today. I have been on all kinds of meds over the years trying to find out what works the best.
I was just diagnosed with babs about a year ago so I'm in the process of trying to get rid of that. He says the lyme won't get better until babs is gone.
He's a great doctor but will not work with insurance companies anymore. BCBS sued him for a million so I don't blame him.
