Hi there... We moved to Colorado 2 years ago and have found a lyme friendly doctor for our 15 year old daughter who went undiagnosed and misdiagnosed for 5 years and then has been being treated for the past 4 years. We still visit her llmd in NJ three/four times a year and he treats her when he sees her. She is making no improvement... llmd says she is back to square one. She needs more steady/aggressive care and we were wondering if we could find any llmd closer to Colorado... Any help would be so appreciated! I am also looking for any sort of support group... I really feel lost out here in Colorado.
Thank you!

Hello again luluhaslyme,
I know it seems impossible that there are not more LLMD's available and handy. AND that is the reality of the situation.
Travel is most often necessary and essential.
Since you have the list of LLMD's, I would suggest you start by selecting some LLMD's offices and calling and discussing your needs. It is also often possible to arrange a short phone interview with the doctor or nurse in the office. This can give you an idea if it might be a good fit.
Good luck......
