I'm looking for a LLMD, does anyone have any comments concerning Dr. R, Neptune NJ? I called his office and talked with someone there but they gave me little info concerning the type of treatments he recommends, standard antibiotics/therapy, more aggressive, Dr. Bruscano's recommendations? Please PM me.

If you don't get any replies here, why don't you call Support Groups in that area. They should have some feedback on this doc. There's a link on the upper left side of this page. Call them if there's a phone number given...don't email.

The only Dr. R in Neptune that I know of is a neurologist. He is Lyme Literate, but he would not be your primary treatment provider for lyme, unless you have neuro symptoms.
There are other LLMD's in the area, PM me if you want contact info. If you are looking for a neuro llmd, then I will be happy to give feedback on Dr. R.
As to support groups, there are no local ones, although some of us local lymenetters have toyed with the idea of setting one up. Unfortunately, the ones that I know are interested, and myself, are all pretty buried in other stuff, so this has sat on the back burner.
Good luck. kp
