Hi I was reffered to a dr. S in south jersey, howell. I have an appt next week. I have heard a lot about other drs. but not much on this guy.
I am not sure if i have Lyme so i am a little afraid of being misdiagnosed with it.
I know it is usually the other way around, buT i have severe anxiety isssues so i am worrying over every aspect of this!!
I don't want to have this, and it seems like there are no truly definitive testing , so I am leary of the over zealous doctor, just as i am afraid
of of the bumbling idiot drs, that tell me here have some xanax and naprosyn for every issue i arrive with
Any help greatly appreciated

I noticed that you haven't gotten any responses on this post. Why don't you call Support Groups in NJ to get some feedback on this doc. There's a link on the upper left side of this page. If there is a phone number listed for a contact person, please call rather than email them.

I believe I sent you the referral and I can assure you that you will be in good hands. Make sure you bring all your blood work, a list of symptoms (past and present) and any specific questions you have. The more you bring with you, the better.

I just went to him August 1st. I like him a lot as a doctor. He is quiet, caring and is very knowledgable. He found out i had overgrowth of yeast and a heart murmur. He also thinks i have several co-infections. I have heard many many good things about him and that is why I decided to go to him. He said he will treat me. Finally I don't have to worry anymore. He listened to every single thing I had to say. He also took my blood right on the spot himself. Any questions PM me... I highly recommend him and sent one of my friends to him as well.

He originally diagnosed me, and picked up a heart murmur on me as well (mitral valve prolapse). No other doctor in my life has heard it before him, and still, some of them miss it.
I liked him, and believe that he would not inappropriately diagnose lyme disease. I only switched doctors because he did not treat with IV. He used orals and bicillin injections. The IV ended up not being the answer for me anyway.
