I was just diagnosed with Lyme disease. I had the high fever, body aches, headaches, chills and especially drenching night sweats which leads me to believe that I may also be co-infected with Babesisios. The test for Babesisios was negative however. My doctor originally treated me for an infected sinus with amoxicillan with out doing any tests. A co-worker who knew my symptoms told me to go back and get a blood test for Lyme, Babesiosis and Ehrlichosis. I did and and sure enough the Lyme test came back positive. The Babesiosis has me worried though.

Hi! Glad you recognized the symptoms fast. I amhaving good luck and aggressive treatment with Dr. M who is near union square. Dr R on the upper west side also i hear is excellent.
