I have been experiencing health problems from a fairly young age - symptoms came on very subtly from a young age (age 7 or so, I am now 24).
Symptoms began with bad insomnia (trouble both falling and staying asleep), constant fatigue, light sensitivity, brain fog, IBS, irritability.
I was still functioning fine but just a lower quality of life. Symptoms slowly worsened in severity over the years.
At age 18 or so, I started having constant nausea and vomiting, vertigo, excruciating migraines, painful stomach pains and shooting pains in inner ears.
I also became increasingly clumsy, running into doorways, having trouble holding onto to cups, having trouble with handwriting and putting the key in the front door.
Also began having nightmares, sleeping only 20 minutes at a time, and hallucinations upon awakening. Also some bad memory problems.
At age 22, fatigue was so strong, many days I could not get out of bed and became completely housebound.
I also developed tingling and numbness in arms and legs that eventually (over a few months) became extremely painful.
Also, the brain fog became so severe, it was difficult for me to answer even simple yes-no questions.
Diagnoses over the years have included Chronic fatigue syndrome, Cushings (a misdiagnosis), narcolepsy (a misdiagnosis).
ELISA test came back negative. Blood tests typically come back normal, other than extremely high cortisol. Progesterone, estrogen, testosterone below normal. Brain MRI was normal.
I have had several tickbites in my life, live in Idaho but have traveled to many states.
My doc started me on the Marshall Protocol over a year ago (utilizing antibiotics and Benicar) and I have improved much but still am housebound most of the time.
The only symptoms remaining are brain fog and fatigue, but they are enough to keep me from living life again.
I would like to find a LLMD to rule out lyme and other tick-born infections.
I will stay on the Marshall Protocol otherwise but would like a second opinion to see if there is any faster way of improving my health, to make sure I am on the right track with the Marshall Protocol, or to find out if anything has been missed in previous testing.
I'm willing to travel out of state for help, whatever it takes.
Would be nice to find a doctor willing to look into other avenues too if I am found not to have lyme or other tick-borne infections.

none in idaho! what large washington cities are you close too? they have MANY in that state!

Dr. Burrascano's most recent "Diagnostic Hints and Treatment Guidelines for Lyme and Other Tick Borne Illnesses" @ http://www.ilads.org/burrascano_0905.html suggests that you discuss with your doctor continuing treatment until you are symptom free for 2 months.

I can travel anywhere in Washington. I am more concerned about finding a knowledgable doctor who will put in the time to help me than I am about spending money to get to him/her.
If the doctors are the same in quality, then Spokane is very easy for me to get to.
I am willing to travel pretty much anywhere for help, although I prefer western states.
If there is a more knowledgable doctor or one more helpful somewhere else (a larger state like California maybe?), I can travel there.
