My son has been experiencing unexplained shaking, numbness/tingling in the face and hands, poor balance, dizziness to the point of nausea, speech difficulty, brain fog, and the list goes on. He has been seeing ENTs for a year about the dizziness and they usually say it is an inner ear problem and it will go away. The last ENT, at least, did an MRI which shows an inflamation of the brain in the area that affects balance. This shows up as white lesions on the MRI. He has seen a neurologist in NYC who is suspecting MS. But I know that lyme can mask itself as MS, so I am looking for a LLMD/neurologist for another opinion. My son says "I just want to feel better, normal again". We live in Dutchess County, NY where there is a high prevalence of Lyme disease and my son works in NYC. So doctors in either locations work for us.
