I've had Lyme-related symptoms for over a year and a half now. I tested positive for Lyme last year, was treated for a month with antibiotics, and then the symptoms came back. I got retested about four months ago, and now the tests are coming back negative. I've seen too many doctors who are quick to dismiss these symptoms, and I'm really concerned about my long-term health.
By a strange coincidence, I ended up talking about Lyme disease with a co-worker last week. She told me of an LLMD that she visited in New Jersey, and told me that I should make an appointment with that doctor. However, I really don't have the means to get out there, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of an LLMD in Massachusetts, preferably in the Boston area.
I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this message board! I had no idea that it existed. Then again, I had no idea that there was a such thing as an LLMD until last week!
Thanks so much for your help. Please send me a private message with some information if you have it.
Take care.
