I live on Cape Ann, an hour north of Boston, but also spend a fair amount of time in Boston/Cambridge. Am seeking a primary care physician who is open to chronic Lyme as a factor in my health. Would like an MD who does not practice "cookbook" medicine, and who is also familiar with alternative approaches to pain, autoimmunity and so on. Would prefer some respect and warmth toward patients. Thanks!

I'm guessing you mean someone to work with your LLMD? If I'm correct, you could ask the LLMD to recommend someone or contact the Support Group for your State.
I just didn't want your post to fall to the bottom without some kind of answer!
Support Group links are listed in the leaves, upper left on LN pages.

No, I and my family are pretty much done with Lyme treatment. We've been at this since 2001 and are not "newbies." I need a new PCP however who understands Lyme and the controversies involved, who can steer me to specialists who also understand. I am tired of being belittled for my past Lyme treatment, and Lyme will always be a factor as I move ahead to evaluate other problems w/autoimmunity and so on.
