After months of suffering and no treatment, I got a referral to the lahey Clinic in Burlington's infectious disease department. I was excited at first but am hearing / reading i may be in for more of the mainstream medical runaround that i've been getting with regrad to my lyme disease . Any info would be appreciated.

I don't think there are any Lyme literate doctors working there (or I would have heard of them!).

It's truly a waste of time and energy to go to any of the big hospitals around Boston. Generally speaking, the doctors in the Boston area are clueless to do with Lyme Disease and coinfections.

Find yourself a good LLMD if you don't already have one.

I'm pretty sure Sparkle7's the one who states in her signature that she's disgusted with them...up for horror stories?

I'm sending you a PM with great news!

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
