An elderly acquaintance of mine has Lyme in South Carolina. He was diagnosed by a tick bite & EM and treated with a few weeks of Doxy by his GP, but is still sick. I am sending him info about LLMDs in SC. I know about Dr. J, but I worry that Dr. J might be too expensive for my friend and I want to be able to give him an alternative.

I found out about Dr. R in Hodges SC through a Lyme doctor referral site. Has anyone here seen him? Does he follow Burrascano's guidelines?

Thank you for any insight you can give!

I am in a similar boat as your acquaintance. I would also be interested in any info on Dr. R in Hodges. Thanks!

All I can tell you is that Dr R is an ILADs Dr....no other notes on this one.

You could try the Support Groups for your State and also N. Carolina

http://www.lymenet.org/SupportGroups/UnitedStates/SouthCarolina/

Support Group link is in the leaves, upper left on LN pages.

They could answer more specific questions about this Dr and others....
